The Australian Window Association is made up of nearly 600 window manufacturers and industry suppliers throughout Australia. Members of the association have products tested to Australian Standard AS2047, which includes compliance to the Glass Standard AS 1288. You can be confident that products are made to withstand Australian conditions when purchasing from an AWA member. Builders and renovators can risk costly replacements of non-compliant products, so it is always safer to buy from an accredited AWA member.

Fenestration Australia 2018

This week, the annual Fenestration Australia conference takes place in Port Douglas. This event is the largest gathering of organisations associated with the fenestration industry, annually bringing together more than 300 delegates and the Southern Star Group is pleased to have branch and brand representatives from around Australia attending this year’s conference.
Fenestration Australia 2018 aims to be a melting pot for the industry, providing a platform for the introduction of new innovations, technology and work practices while addressing key issues that affect the industry, all set against the backdrop of an informative networking environment.
