We are thrilled to announce that builders supplied by the Southern Star Group of companies were celebrated for their excellence and innovation at the 2023 HIA Western Victoria Awards. Their outstanding achievements were recognised across multiple categories, showcasing their dedication to craftsmanship, design, and quality.

The Big Winners Amongst Our Friends

Metricon emerged as a shining star, taking home the prestigious "Best Display Home over $1 million" award for their Highlander design. Noted for its high ceilings, large size, stunning fixtures as well as Southern Star Aluminium Windows & Doors throughout.

Hamlan Homes proved their prowess by clinching the award for "Best Display Home $600,000 - $1 million" for their Cumberland 266 Design. This build is notable for its energy-efficient passive home design to keep its occupants comfortable year-round.  To achieve this the Cumberland 266 features a North facing courtyard, Solar Chargepack with Tesla Powerwall, and Southern Star Double-Glazing throughout.

Sherridon Homes added to the accolades, securing the title of "Best Display Home $300,000-$400,000." This achievement highlights their ability to deliver exceptional homes that are both affordable and beautifully designed.
